AHIP develops new initiatives to improve the quality and safety of health care AHIP’s Table of Directors has developed a new group of policy initiatives made to improve the quality and protection of healthcare. The proposal contains reforms to the FDA and an idea for comparing the potency of prescription medications, devices and new medical technologies.People often prefer to invest in plans that cover 100 percent of the expense of routine preventive and diagnostic treatment such as washing, checkups, etc. The policy should offer optimum coverage for fillings, root canal, and many basic procedures. The policy should also offer 50 percent coverage for crowns, bridges, and related procedures, etc. The coverage is often provided through group and employee policies. The dental coverage can be found in three types HMO, Indemnity and PPO plans.
